Glen Reed
Glen is the Co-Founder (with Michael Brodeur), and Director of Destiny Finder, and the Director of Pastor’s Coach. Glen became a Christian in 1971 during the Jesus Movement as a freshman at U.C. Davis in California, from which he graduated with a B.S. in Business Management and Agricultural Economics with Highest Honors. He was head of two campus ministries during the 70s, got a Masters Degree in Agricultural Economics, and moved to San Francisco in 1979. He worked in desktop publishing and sales and moved into marketing and technical writing and training in the 90s.
Glen served as associate pastor of the Open Door Christian Fellowship in San Francisco in 1988. He has worked with Michael since 1989, teaching, pastoring, leading an internship program and helping Michael develop the destiny materials. In 1995 he graduated from Western Seminary with an M. Div. and went on full time staff as an associate pastor at Vineyard Christian Fellowship in San Francisco with Michael.
In 2016 he left the corporate world of technical writing and training, and is full time with Destiny Finder and Pastor’s Coach, doing everything from writing much of the copy on the websites, doing light programming, handling user problems, training pastors and leaders in the Boot Camps, coaching churches, leading webinars, and trying to implement all that apostolically-minded Michael comes up with.
He led Destiny Finder small groups at William Jessup University in Rocklin, Ca; and at Jesus Culture Church in Folsom, CA when he lived there. He now lives in Santa Ana, CA and in addition to his fulltime responsibilities with Destiny Finder and Pastor’s Coach, he serves in local ministries. He enjoys ballroom dancing (having taught dancing for several years), volleyball, board games, and playing guitar.
